Wisdom is intertwined/interwoven throughout the creation. It was there in the beginning and in order to have joy/true happiness, it must be interwoven into our lives today. Whatever I do, I must gain wisdom and undertanding. It reminds me of the determination of some of the kings who committed themselves to follow the LORD and keep his commands, regulations and decrees with all their heart and all their soul, and to obey the words of the covenant. Then the land had peace and prosperity. I too must seek His face and live from day to day fully in His presence and all what I do and say must be coloured by His Spirit. Lead me and guide me also this day Lord as I listen to Your voice.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

I have often disliked the word wisdom. The pursuit of wisdom meant truth at all costs and was harsh and demanding.
Today in this proverb I see delight and joy in seeing wisdom… There is love in it… Wisdom without love would be awful.. but that is not wisdom… wisdom includes love..
Thank-you Holy Spirit for opening my mind to a new understanding… I can seek wisdom with a light heart now. I praise you God. Amen
