- It is the responsibility of the individual/family to request baptism.
- New Christians are asked to attend Faith Commitment or Alpha Classes.
- For a Christian family desiring to have a child baptized, you will receive a visit from a Pastoral Elder to receive an assurance of faith and commitment from the parents.
- Baptism will be permitted for children for whom only one parent is a Christian. The Christian parent will make the public commitments, and the non-Christian parent will be invited to indicate their promise of support as well.
- Upon approval of the Pastoral Ministry Team, the individual/family are welcome to select a time and service for the baptism.
- The individual/family are also invited to select a song (or songs) that can be sung during the baptism service.
- You (and your family) will be warmly received into the fellowship of the church family.
- You will be encouraged to follow through on your commitments to grow in your faith and in the life of the Church.
