Review: Please take some time this week to review your commitment to the Lord this past year through prayer, serving and giving.
- Do you pray regularly for the church family, leadership and ministries of Hope Church? Do you feel it is necessary?
- How did you serve the Lord with your time and your talents, either at Hope Church or in the community (be specific)?
- Do you treat creation (“trees”) with respect and care, and do you honour the Lord in how you use it?
- What has your giving been like this year? Do you give intentionally as a priority, or haphazardly, as the need arises?
Reflect: Please take some time this week to reflect on how the Lord has blessed you, how He is blessing you now, and why He blesses you in this way.
- How have you seen the Lord’s hand at work this past year, whether personally, as a family, at work or at church?
- Do you sense the Lord calling you to change how you serve Him with your time or your talents?
- Do you take environmental concerns seriously? In what ways can you be a better steward of the creation?
- Do you sense God calling you to handle your finances differently? Do you feel that He is being honoured by how you spend money?
